Easy Enrolment Process
Enrolment in Springboard: Preschool, Kindergarten and Year 1 Programs
Enrolment in the Springboard classes is not dependent on an entry test as tests are not sufficiently accurate at this young age.
To start your enrolment, submit your initial registration form here.

Entry Testing for Year 2-7
Students are taught in classes of students with similar ability and skill level. This provides for an optimal learning environment for our programs and supports the needs of bright children who are seeking to be challenged at a high level and at pace.
We achieve this consistency in class composition by admitting students who meet our entry testing requirements.
Not all students who sit our entry tests pass the assessment. It is important for parents to have and set realistic expectations in a supportive manner for their children to avoid unnecessary disappointment if the requirements of the entry test are not met.
The test reflects children’s maturity and skills at a certain point in time. Children may sit the test again after 6-12 months if they do not pass. For some children, the extra time and maturity is sufficient for them to have developed the skills to meet the test benchmarks.
Remember that the test measures suitability for our programs. It does not mean children who sit the test are not bright or gifted. There are other avenues for enrichment and extended learning outside of The Swot Shop programs that you can explore if your child is not successful in gaining access.
Enrolment in Years 2-7
Enrolment at The Swot Shop follows once you have received advice that your child has passed the entry test. This advice will come to you via email within a week of your child sitting the test. To learn more about our entry test system, please follow this link.
With the advice, you will receive the raw scores for each of the sections assessed if your child is in Years 2-7.
With your advice you will receive program offers if your child has been successful.
Depending on the test and age of your child and their performance in each of the test sections these may include Galileo’s Gang, Maths Talent and/or Advanced English.
Once you have received your program offer(s), we ask you to accept the offer promptly as limited places are available in the programs and filled on a first in, best dressed basis.
Acceptance of an offer requires payment of the program fee for a term or semester. A discount is offered when enrolling for a semester or on a weekday.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new students because we believe in the quality of our programs.
After the initial 7 days, you can withdraw at any time from a program, but we charge an administration fee equivalent of two weeks’ fees. The balance of the fees will be refunded.
