In May and June, students at The Swot Shop are competing in the areas of Maths, English and Science. Here we showcase one of our winners from last year, Brian who was in Year 1 at the time and wrote about his friend Rory.
Who is your best friend? What do you do together and why?
“Hi! I am obsessed with my friend Rory. My best companion Rory, I actually made companions with him today at school! He is from England. He’s six years old. He’s got a stitch on his forehead and I also play handball with him at recess. We go to school together. He ambitiously wants to be a Speaking School Teacher. I’m pretty sure because he is a chatterbox! Plus he’s ecstatic all the time and very, very funny! I also think he has Legendary Pokemon cards too. He is also wanting me to learn and know information about my best companion, Rory.
We made friends automatically because I like his personality. Me and Rory are in the same class. He might looooooove my pet marine animals.
I also have coooool Legendary Pokemon cards. Once we had a chance to play Pokemon battle! Rory is a great companion to have and he is a great soccer player! If he didn’t have that stitch on his forehead he would play soccer so this week he can play soccer plus he uses our teacher’s handball!”
