Our specialised program provides an educational enrichment opportunity for academically gifted children. It is designed to foster critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning, while strengthening skills in mathematics, reading, writing and thinking skills – all essential for success in the Selective High School Placement Test. This program provides students with the practice needed across accuracy, speed and time management to master the test format and conditions.
In 2025, 95% of Swot Shop students who completed our Selective Exam Preparation program and shared their results with us were offered either a place or a reserve place at a Selective High School.
When to join
Students who will be in Year 5 next year (2026) can enrol in our Selective Exam Preparation Program beginning in Term 2, 2026. The program runs across four terms and finishes at the end of Term 1, 2027, just before the Selective High School Placement Test (in early May 2027).
